Introduction to business productivity software suites using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and/or presentation software. Course cannot be completed using Apple devices or Google Chrome devices.

ITSC-1315: IT Project Management

Use of project management tools for developing a project plan including timelines, milestones, scheduling, life cycle phases, management frameworks, skills, and processes.

ITSC-1316: Linux Installation and Configuration

Credit Hours 3
Introduction to Linux operating system. Includes Linux installation, basic administration, utilities and commands, upgrading, networking, security, and application installation. Emphasizes hands-on setup, administration, and management of Linux.

ITSC-2339: Personal Computer Help Desk Support

Credit Hours 3

Diagnosis and solution of user hardware and software related problems with on-the-job and/or simulated projects.

Prerequisites: 21 Computer Science credit hours with a minimum grade of "C" or department approval.

ITSC-2386: Internship - Computer and Information Sciences, General

Credit Hours 3

A work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer.

Prerequisites: 30 Computer Science credit hours with a minimum grade of "C" and departmental approval.
