- Physical impairments that adversely impact daily functioning
- Need to frequently arrange for on and off-campus service providers
- Inability to attend classes during certain parts of the day due to documented treatments or medical needs (chemotherapy, renal dialysis, etc.)
- Processing impairments that adversely affect academic performance
- DSS Coordinator will review the request and will inform the student of the decision in writing. If approved, the course load will apply for one semester. However, students may re-apply each semester as needed – request must still be at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester. Updated documentation may be requested to evaluate the current impact of the disability.
- Retroactive requests will not be considered.
