Principles of health care statistics with emphasis in hospital statistics, and skill development in computation and calculation of health data. This course also provides an introduction to epidemiology and statistics for tumor registrars, with an emphasis on use of registry data for epidemiologic research. The course includes an overview of statistical and epidemiologic terminology and methods, and analysis and presentation of cancer data for education and research.
