The General Studies in Pre-Health Sciences program is designed to provide a strong academic foundation for students aspiring to pursue careers in a variety of healthcare-related fields. With a comprehensive curriculum focused in the core foundational sciences, mathematics, and communication skills, this program prepares students for the rigorous academic demands of advanced health programs such as medicine, physical therapy, pharmacy, dentistry, and more.
This program is designed to offer a flexible and accessible pathway to higher education for the student wishing to pursue a Baccalaureate degree in the Health Sciences. It provides an opportunity for students to explore various health professions, identify their areas of interest, and build a strong academic portfolio for further studies in specialized health programs. The Central Texas College curriculum is designed to maximize the transfer of lower-level coursework to the Baccalaureate degree granting public education institutions within the State of Texas.
