Student Support Services

CTC offers several student support services to students.

Disability Support Services

Disability Support Services (DSS) provides academic accommodations to eligible students creating opportunities that promote educational access. Students must self-identify to DSS and provide appropriate documentation of their disability to receive academic accommodations. Students should contact the DSS office located on the Central Campus in Student Services Building 215, Room 101, or 254-501-3006 for more information. Students are encouraged to visit the DSS website at www.ctcd.edu/disability-support to learn more about DSS and the process students are required to follow to request academic accommodations in accordance with state and federal disability laws.

Pregnant and Parenting Students

Central Texas College prohibits the discrimination of students who are pregnant and/or parenting. This includes harassment and discrimination against a student based on pregnancy, childbirth, false pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, or lactation, as well as any related medical conditions or recovery therefrom. “Parenting student” refers to a student who is the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 years of age. Students needing information about pregnancy/parenting related resources, pregnancy/parenting related accommodations, or seeking a leave of absence due to pregnancy/parenting must self-identify and make the request.
