ITSE-1329: Programming Logic and Design

Problem-solving applying structured techniques and representation of algorithms using design tools. Includes testing, evaluation, and documentation. Techniques and application for programming design and development for desktop, web, and database application.

ITSE-1346: Database Theory and Design

Credit Hours 3

Introduction to the analysis and utilization of data requirements and organization into normalized tables using the normal forms of database design.

ITSE-2347: Advanced Database Programming

Credit Hours 3

Database development using complex database programming techniques emphasizing multiple interrelated files, menu design, security implementation, and multiple access.

Prerequisites: 12 hours from any combination of COSC-1315, any ITSE, and any ITSW or Departmental Approval.

ITSE-2359: Advanced Computer Programming

Credit Hours 3

Advanced programming techniques including file access methods, data structures, modular programming, program testing and documentation.

Prerequisites: 12 hours from any combination of COSC-1315, any ITSE, and any ITSW or Departmental Approval.

ITSE-2386: Internship - Computer Programming/Programmer, General

Credit Hours 3

A work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer.

Prerequisites: 12 hours from any combination of COSC-1315, any ITSE, and any ITSW or Departmental Approval.
