BUSG-1371: Entrepreneur & Business Plan Development

Credit Hours 3

Involves the development and presentation of a plan to create or expand a business. It provides the student with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate a mastery of the essential competencies required for business opportunity analysis, the development of a marketing plan, and the development of a business financial plan. Students will prepare a business plan for a business that they want to develop or expand. Consent of the Department Chair is required.

BUSG-2309: Small Business Management/ Entrepreneurship

Credit Hours 3
A course on starting; operating; and growing a small business. Topics include facts about a small business; essential management skills; how to prepare a business plan; accounting; financial needs; staffing; marketing strategies; and legal issues.
